The Missing Golden Eggs/The Super Secret Sassy Story (feat. Jana Schmieding)

In the story “The Missing Golden Eggs” by an 8-year-old from Maryland named Sophie, a Goose lays a golden egg, but then it goes missing! We loved that this story was inspired by the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk,” which also features a character that is a Goose who lays golden eggs. In the original version, “Jack” is obviously the main character, but Sophie took one of the other characters--the Goose--and made it the main character in her story.
